Objectives of Prayathnam

· To broaden the scope of learning by conducting workshops amidst seasoned and experienced professionals.

· To start a database fro competitions, examinations and festivals with details on itineraries and list of concerned organization.

· To collate a database for existing songs and their lyrics with their respective inferences

· To institute a diploma course for 1-6 levels with specific syllabus and assessment with graded certification given by Prayathnam and recognized by a reputed body.

· To draw guidelines on the requisites of a dance school recognized by Prayathnam

· To go to local schools and rural areas to conduct workshops, lecture demonstrations and quiz competitions.

· To make provision to facilitate compilation of theory notes to be used for advanced students of dance.

· To conduct festivals in temples and later other venues giving different dace schools a platform for performance through the process of rotation and drawing of lots.

· To institute a scholarship awarded by Prayathnam to the most serious student and best performer of the year in performance and theory.

· To propagate the ideals of Prayathnam by creating a web page and updating information of its members and their activities.

· To start the family of Prayathnam with an annual subscription of Rs.500.
